As we rapidly expand our commercial activities, we are seeking a dedicated and dynamic:
Market Development Representative
(Based in the Netherlands, fulltime 40 hours a week)
Role Overview: In this role, you will provide comprehensive product and agronomic support to drive Solynta’s business development efforts. Your mission is to ensure the success of our customers and partners by setting up and monitoring tailored trials and demonstrations, providing expert guidance, and facilitating the seamless introduction of Solynta’s groundbreaking HTPS technology.
Key activities / responsibilities
- Optimize HTPS cultivation systems in targeted regions.
- Collaborate with Solynta’s technical teams to gather necessary product information.
- Support the commercial team in producing required product support materials.
- Engage with customers to ensure their success.
- Develop and implement product support plans for new customers.
- Coordinate and participate actively in product demonstrations and field days.
- Oversee and guide product registrations.
- Establish local product priorities and analyze competition.
- Provide regular, comprehensive reports to the Product Management Lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in potato cultivation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, including MS Office and variety testing software.
- Proactive attitude with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 70-100 days per year.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Ability to manage complexity and multitask effectively under pressure.
- Current residency in The Netherlands.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English
